The best parts of this book are the Lando parts!

I loved

- Jabba sassing Vader
- Learning how *redacted* happened
- “I hate you”
- Luke’s cinnamon roll self

I hope they reunite HA!

With all the context of the other novels, this one totally makes sense.

Even I’m starting to believe Jar Jar and Vader are the same person......

I have this bad habit lately of shipping the wrong ship and I think that’s because Kalyn just made you feel all the things for all the people.

A heartbreaking look at the Japanese Internment told through the eyes of a child (and later an adult). There’s something for everyone here. This made me love Takei even more.

I wish I hadn’t wait to read this series!

Kenji is the Jar Jar Binks of Shatter Me and I never want to read another story from his POV.

The perfect follow up to the Poe graphic novels and the perfect set up for TROS. So much potential lost in the actual execution of TROS but here we are.

I did love seeing Leia because it sets up her tone in the movie. Rebecca did an excellent job on all of the characterizations. Now I want the same time period from the POV of The First Order!
