This was an interesting take on politics and corruption but ultimately was not for me

100 pages and so much to unpack. Do yourself a favor & pick this one up.

Maybe if I read the other books I would have been entertained? Like at what point does the plot move forward because 70% into the audio...it’s gone no where.

Brandy always seems to write the important social issues and considering the recent win against J&J for their role in the opioid crisis, a book about the impacts of substance use disorders seems relevant. Birdie jumped right off the page and into my heart, as I am sure she will yours!

You think you’ve met authors who put their characters through everything and then you meet Danika + Switchback and learn how very untrue that is!

The truth is you can’t trust Rainbow with your favs because she will put them through all of the emotions and take you with them. Love this arc - can’t wait for the next one!

Again, the art rules this story! This is the Catwoman origin story we needed but so, so sad. I appreciate the resources at the end.

I hope we will get more - these stories seem like only the beginning!

When I first started reading, I thought, “Do I really need a prequel to the TV show when I’ve read the comics? When I watched the original TV show?” I almost didn’t move ahead.

That would have been a mistake.

I really loved the chapters from other characters, especially Tommy’s chapter. Giving him that chapter made the entire book worth it.
