I did not know how badly I needed THIS retelling. This was so great and I CANT WAIT FOR BOOK 2!

This is the Ready Player One x Romance story I didn’t know I needed.

Excuse me but I'll just be over here in a puddle of tears until the dawn of the end of time.

Ann ends the book saying she wanted to bring to life the activists who died from the virus (and a complete failure of our political and health systems) and she did exactly that.

This book will put your emotions through the ringer and you’ll thank it.

Loved this arc. After all the emotional turmoil we’ve been through, it was fun to see everyone working together on something not hero related!

I struggled to connect with this one but that’s totally on me, not the book!

Sex positivity in the gay community (and overall), humor, great friendships, supportive adults (some), and a narrator who brings Jack to life make this one amazing listen!

Lyrical & magical!
