Welcome to "men crying and adorable cats" the series."
we see Geoffroy's mom in this one. i think this is the first interracial relationship (or is she a dark-skinned Sicilian?) I've seen in a manga.

+ I enjoyed the story.
+ Love that Leon literally had the power of common sense
+ For MHA fans, Leon is basically Deku. A sweet child who knows everything about the heroes.
+ Explores the conversation of judging people base doff their parents and falling into stereotypes.
+ Explores the conversation of judging people base doff their parents and falling into stereotypes.
+ The mother-son relationship. there’s a little depth with Leon feeling lied to about his mom’s super identity, and she explains with foreshadowing why heroes keep that secret. I wasn’t expecting this, but it was nice.
- Clementine was too much. I get she was acting out, but she had like full-blown hatred that didn’t make sense. she only got attention for acting poorly… okay… he r parents were celebrity superheroes who didn’t have time for her, but why did she hate Leon so much??? Hopefully, the next book covers that more.
- The artwork looked unfinished at times. As an artist myself, I’m in no way discounting the gruesomely tedious hard work it is to create anything, especially a graphic novel. But too many times, Chalmers was left completely unshaded next to shaded characters. And Clementine was drawn off model at times.

I read this book because someone said it gave "Howl's Moving Castle" vibes. I was pleasantly surprised. Things get very complicated in the end, concerning plot and morality, but I liked it. I wouldn't mind seeing more of Roda and Ignis. I also wanted to actually see them give the rings.

Charming! The stories felt episodic though they were held together by a common thread. Machine Boy has a quick turn of heart after an encounter with Goh (think of your average shounen hero but mid-sixties) and later his wife. The stuff with Bea felt rushed, but the lighthearted tone and the lovely artwork kept my attention. The boyband stuff was also fun.

I don't like reading books heavy in the occult, but this was pretty good. I have never seen it, but it give Jennifer's Body vibes.

I'm sorry, but Mariah was irking me in the beginning. She came off too pushy and crass though it worked in Lauren's favor to realize how harsh and constraining her upbringing was. It even lead to first love. But the ending was sad just so y'know with those this was a very special episode vibes.
the pastor making his pregnant daughter basically as the congregation for forgiveness was gross. :( then, ol' girl was smoking a cigarette. forget the baby, dang.
