This is fast food, but I see how it’s entertaining.
Sophie is over-powered and oh-so special, all the boys want her, and everyone wants to be her friend. You could say Mary-sue, or you can see this as a cute, juvenile female power fantasy.
Judging by the graphic adaptation, it’s an easy story to follow along and I see why there are so many books in the series.
Overall, I liked the art style as it was very cute and Disney meets Winx Club. The development with Biana, who I thought was going to be a one-note mean girl, was good as well. They gave her an understandable motivation behind her frostiness. Sir Tiergan was one of my favorite characters. That man was not for the shenanigans. Keefe was much more interesting than Fitz to me.

Great message of 'knowing when to let others help you' with a wholesome set of characters in PR. I enjoyed the art style and how it wasn't afraid to get cartoony at times.

This series just doesn't miss!
It always delivers on lovable characters, doggies, and artwork. Priya learns the lesson of knowing when to advocate for yourself. In the background, one of the PAWS girls gets obsessed with social media.
For me, this is becoming this generation's Babysitter's Club with the group expanding.

The artwork complemented this story so well. It was delicate and lovely with thin linework. At times, I did think the heads were a little too long though.
This is an inclusive, Bridgerton-ish tale. But I’m sorry I just couldn’t care about Catherine. Baby girl was dull. I understand the conflict she had with Andrew no one wants to feel like option #2. , but it also felt like she was creating problems/self-sabotaging.
On the other hand, I really enjoyed Gemma's, Andrew’s sister, struggles with grief, introversion, and social anxiety.

This was a fun, nautical cop comedy. I liked the humor and the art style was perfect. But be aware: it’s aggressively punny!

I was engulfed in the worldbuilding and the characters. Mehr was sweet, strong-willed, and intelligent, and Amun was so kind. He was such a gentleman, and Mehr showed strength is not only in the power of your fists. The romance was a slow burn in the background.
The book is quite bittersweet throughout though, but I enjoyed the reading experience for the most part.

A little iffy on the dialogue, but the plot was fun. Static is reeling from a breakup with his girl and gets swept into a night of shenanigans.
Also, the characterization of Icon was a hoot! I wasn’t expecting that. Y’all, this man basically pulled out Clarence Thomas’s biography. 💀
I also liked the art style and how ridiculous Isadora was. Rocket was very abrasive/rough around the edges, to the point, I thought she was beginning to get very one-note. But she did simmer down a bit and showed some depth.
Overall, I want more Static content!

I dig the zany magical realism vibes. For no reason at all, one of the characters has a humanoid cat uncle. Kaz and his (play)cousin Truly get into shenanigans when they go snooping around. Kaz has a disability that affects his sight, but it’s not his sole trait, though it does impact how he gets around during the adventurous bits. Truly has emotional issues surrounding her parents that cause her to act rudely.
The color scheme is a blueberry smoothie, and the art style has an unfinished 3 am cartoon on Adult Swim vibe, but it works. There are more realistic-looking characters and cartoony ones; like, a mixture of The Amazing World of Gumball. At times, character close-ups looked ugly (namely Truly, unfortunately), but the art style conveyed the story overall well. It shined with establishing shots/locations.
Once introductions and character motives are out of the way, the story becomes fast-paced almost to a break-your-neck speed. Random characters started spawning after the kids summoned the space knight, who I liked. I honestly got lost with the barrage of characters and fighting, but kids will probably enjoy the nonstop action and wacky villains.

Really cute! Zoey’s been homeschooled her entire life and the only thing helping her cope with the new start is her blunt coding program.
I loved the artwork. The story played with cliches and subverted them the slightest bit though the ending felt abrupt.
