I liked this volume much, much better than the first, and there’s less winking haha. This had a single storyline as opposed to the random shorts from before and some meta moments. For me, who doesn’t know much about these characters, I found J-Five annoying. If you can’t commit, get out the way for a real man! However, I think if I had known about this franchise all along, I would’ve found the

big kiss

super satisfying, like when your favorite cartoon characters finally get together after like 3 seasons. Still, the

kiss scene

was straight out of a shoujo. It’s so cute!

There were a lot of references, callbacks, and appearances from an array of characters that would surely make longtime fans happy. Still, as a newcomer, I got up to speed quickly.

Pues, esto libro fue muy tonto pero estoy segura de que a los ninos les encantará. Concreteamente me me gustó mucho la parte con el super-gofre y la wonderfresa. Creí que las fotos en vez del estilo de arte normal fue una buena sorpresa.

Very nice! Despite the heavy educational cartoon vibes, I enjoyed the science experiments and simple explanations. The art was cute as well.

Interesting with a few dark moments. Aw, I feel so bad for Nethana. She went through a lot :o

I really thought things with the 2nd son was going to turn out differenly. Like, he would get redeemed. I thought the story was building towards it, but, sometimes, life is like that.
