Super cute illustrations but the story and characters are dry. Ana needs to be disqualified because both her love interests keep saving her butt, which is why she's inadvertently winning, and she has a whole other person with her helping cheat. -__-

There's a whole lot of winking going on! It reminds me of when I first started learning to draw and couldn't make the second eye look like the first, so I got lazy and just made the character wink. Concerning the book, the illustrations are cute, B&W Sunday comics-style. I think I would've liked this book better if I had grown up with the characters. Some of the pop-culture references are cheesy such as the "Twice-light" movies, and a lot of the jokes fall flat. But I think a lot of that can be attributed to the translation/interpretation.

Anyway, I got volume 1 - 3 from the library, so onto book 2!

Wow, this series is still good. I'm surprised that Greg showed a little heart this time. Overall, a fun read from beginning to end.

I actually wanted them to move and break the status quo.

- it's cool that Avani doesn't like makeup, talking about boys, or decoupage, but she just gives those "I'm not like other girls" teas.

Never read/watched Anne of Green Gables before, but I enjoyed this graphic novel. I loved the art style and color palette. Everything just looked wonderful.
