A super cute collection of animal-themed comics. Some of these will really make you go 'aww.' I particularly enjoyed the Shtinky and the Guard dog ones.

I hadn’t realized this was the second and final (?) volume of Shuri’s adventures. Still, without having read the first volume, I caught on quickly to the story. The idea of a battle with a funky, music-loving bug was quirky but not at all bad. I would’ve been interested in reading more of Shuri’s struggles with being the black panther and an engineer and a princess.

One question: Why is everyone looking so doggone old in this? Stop with the forehead wrinkles. It’s giving the characters that Knuckles the Echidna look. SN: I didn’t like the constant lighting in the second story. It was just too bright especially on the characters’ skin at times.

Anyway, I enjoyed Shuri and Miles (and later Ms Marvel) teaming up, and the color direction. When there’s pink or purple, it’s really beautiful here. The volume's last ending lines are predictable, but a satisfying touch to end the story.

Quirky, tedious, and fun.

Well, Aoi seems like a wholesome love interest. He's kind, gentle, and seems to be struggling with his inner-demons. *badum-tsk* Himari is still generic and one-note, but that's the type of MC shoujo stories love, so who am I to judge. The "maybe it's Maybelline so-called sexy with gaping mouth and elongated neck" poses seem a bit awkward, but I still like the artwork overall.

there's a bit of a mystery theme in this volume.
