Ehh, not my kind of humor. It's way too gross and bloody, but I liked the letters the cat wrote.
Although the ballast added an interesting lore element, I found the artwork way more charming than the story. The color direction is beautiful. I think almost every color is used in a murky watercolor style.
This girl makes so many mistakes while trying to be an assassin that it's unbelievable. But the main one crying that she needs to be in the family business. She better be glad the head dude got a soft spot for her.

For being super cool without a license"(page 27).When I was younger, I loved the Dear Dumb Diary books, so I was super excited to read this from the same author. This book was so stupid in the best way possible. I love the cute artwork, the origin story of an unexpected character's former life of crime, and little got-a-bad-attitude-need-to-take-a-nap-with-his-Sharpie-marker-eyebrows-self Clyde. Also, the Granny Turtle is so adorable.

If you want a quick, fun read around 10 minutes, then I recommend this book. Give me a sequel!
