Absolutely beautiful artwork and a wholesome story. If you want something adorable to lift your mood, read this.

 Beautiful, fully detailed artwork though the story felt a bit lackluster and cliché. I really liked the Komodo dragons though. They were about their business. 

I love the colorful watercolor illustrations. I was not expecting this story to get emotional or bloody at times. I will read book two. I want to see where this is going.

 The premise was interesting but the execution felt a little dumb. Still fun to read tho. Kudos, that writers are no longer letting best friends be treated like dirt by the MC. 

 This was fun. The art style fits perfectly for this story. 

 This volume’s rather cute but still with the weirdness you’d come to expect from this series. I still don’t like Yamai. 

 Well, there’s a lot going on, but, unfortunately, it did not move me. There are a few loose threads that never get tied up. This is a coming of age, I suppose. While they ignore Louise, Louise’s older cousins are growing up and getting into shenanigans and whatnot (smoking weed, discovering sexuality, sexual desires, sneaking out, etc). Louise just wants to have fun and stall the inevitable. A ghost finds her at her grandmother’s house, and they develop a connection. 

I just don’t think this one was for me.
