Feels like barely anything happened in this volume, but I really enjoy these characters, especially Morgan. 

 I love this little series. It's so charming and wonderfully dumb. We even get a little backstory on Jay. To help out his lack of flight knowledge, his pals put together a makeshift flight school and hilarity ensues. 

 I've said this before, but I love what IDW's been able to do with the Sonic series, giving actual personality to characters like Amy and Shadow, including the CHAO in a more prominent role (this has a Chao race), and having the sleekest artwork, baby.

There are some panels where you know the artists are just having fun, showing off that artistic prowess. So much character in the artwork and the expressions!

Not to mention the story for this volume was super fun! We even get some "in-character" teamwork from Sonic and Shadow. The new characters the writers create are genuinely fun and add new dynamics. Also, loving the humor overall.

Whatever y'all are doing, keep doing it - from a long-time Sonic fan.

Love that the mama never stopped being a warrior and that the parents play an active role in saving their kids, but I didn’t like much else here. A bit confusing overall 

 Refreshing!

I really enjoyed this. Lena had an excellent narrative voice and didn't feel like a blank sheet of paper. Her rebellious attitude against the digitalization of society coupled with machinery becoming an actual part of her was a super fun conflict.

There's a sizeable slice of mystery and a dollop of thriller, but the sci-fi nature stays consistent throughout. I'll read the next book for sure! 

Really liked this one! The artwork was beautiful and set the tone well. While I don't think anyone really reacted normally to murder, it's worth a read.

This book felt soooooo long (I think some filler could've been cut), but I also think it was really good. I loved how understanding Clara was and how OCD doesn’t just manifest in one way.

I liked the dinner with Haru. He's pretty smooth. Now, Chikage's forced to make a decision: relive life as a 15-year-old or take control of her life at her rightful age.

Overall, this series has truly been mediocre, but I'm too close to the end to stop. 

Well, okay, let’s just throw a child death in here.  .__. But at least the grief is handled seriously.  I still think Sayaka's death was entirely unnecessary.

Then, the story jumps into dumb paternity woes. Whatever it takes to get the main couple together I guess. *eye roll*
