I love these characters. I want more! 

This was really good. An immortal elf has to come to terms with her friends growing older while she does not. We only get to meet Frieren’s party for a few pages, but each of their interactions hit me hard. ;__; This manga is emotional, heartwarming, and poignant. Also, little to no weird fanservice either. 

Substantial progress has been made. This has to be the most Komi has ever spoken. She stepped up in a friend’s time of need. Also, a new take on love rivals

they’re rooting for each other. May the best woman win Tadano’s heart

. Pretty cute overall still with the weirdness you’d expect from this series.

 Yeah, there's an actual progression in this volume! Komi is fully aware of her feelings for Tadano, Manbagi is trying to get closer to bland-boy extraordinaire Tadano too, and there's a sports festival and a play. This volume was charming. 

 Less weirdness and a lot more heart this volume. An antisocial germaphobe makes amends with her childhood friend during school election time, and it’s so wholesome. Also, I wasn’t aware Tadano was so tall!

I also want way more of Hitomi and Komi’s brother. Their dynamic is way more fun. 

I usually shy away from most dark books or ones that deal with the occult, but this series is really good. Dialogue/narrative voice is stellar. Plot doesn’t take the cliché story beats you’d expect.
