I may not have been in the right mind for this one and might have to reread it. But I found it to be (as my students would say) "mid". I felt like it was a young girl having anxieties about the future which would make the story timeless because we have always and will always worry endlessly about uncontrollable future events. But I feel like there's more to the story I'm just not in the right mindset to pick up on.

I have to say that I was a little worried at first. Everyone in my school had read this book and raved about it. I don't trust the judgments of my fellow students, sadly, because we don't seem to share the same common ground. But since this book was going to become a quick classic, I thought, " What the hell." So I read it and loved it. It was creative and unique. the auhor's style of writing was so intriguing and kept me hooked. In some areas of the book I could actually feel my heart racing. I really enjoyed this book and want to read it soon.
