I really liked this book; it was different than many other princess stories I have read in the future. I like how it shows girls that you don't have to be delicate and mean, that you can be tough and head-strong. I also liked how it ended. It was different. This book is wonderfully written and very creative.

An intense creative adventure. I really enjoyed reading this book but not so much the sequels. I did like this book but the writing style, use of cliches, and the personality and maturity of the characters suggests this book would be in the most interest of younger kids (as in middle school and younger).

Equipped with more action and a hotter romance, I enjoyed the sequel much, much more than the first installment.
