I know I tend to be pretty generous with my five stars. But this really was amazing! I’ve always loved learning the backstory of the story. It was interesting to learn what experiences shaped the young mind of President Sow, the tyrant of the trilogy. I had a hard time putting it down.

enjoyed & enraged reading about the South during segregation. loved, loved. loved Jacqueline's life in Brooklyn, it mirrors my life in the Bronx as a little half Puerto Rican girl eating pasteles & pernil! Yum!!! so much to learn!
