Started this series five years ago, hard to believe it’s come to an end. Bernard Cornwell is an amazing historical fiction writer whose story of Uhtred of Bebbanburg will have you hooked from page one. Highly recommend this series to anyone. Even if you aren’t a fan of historical fiction, or books set during the Middle Ages, this series is worth the read for the action, romance, writing style, history lesson and so much more.

This book is an wonderful book! Great characters, setting I could picture in my head while reading, and a plot kept me at the edge of my seat until the very end. Highly recommend to everyone!
