Wow. This was stellar.
First of all--highlighting gender and sexuality in this book was a god tier move, more please!!
Second--
The characterization was on point, and the relationships were intriguing and hilarious. The banter was wonderful as well! My one critique would be that some of the new characters (i.e. Theo) could have had more depth, but I'm hoping we see more about him in book two (as well as his romance-ish-thingy with Loki).

I didn't think that a book could make me hate Odin even more than I already did, but Mackenzi Lee...you succeeded. Still, I loved how the family relationships were complicated and already set the stage for Thor 1, maybe even the Loki series!

very cute summery romance novel. thinking about this a lot as i take a romance writing class this semester, and how it invokes multiple cultures into a charming romances, albeit very straight book.

While the ending was a little rushed and some aspects of the characters' lives not fully fleshed out and feeling a bit "why is this here?" I definitely overall enjoyed this book. It's a very cute fake-dating romance that deals with mental health issues, communication, and of course, a complimentary couple. They're almost too healthy!

Hilarious, personal, passionate, and honest, this book gave a lot of insight into the early SPN fandom and the slash shippers who found a community there. The SPN fandom is split into two parts, really, and while I had known some about the Destiel side by proxy of being a Tumblr user, this was a fascinating look into older fans of the show (the "bibros"). I loved seeing the passion behind the authors and the way that we are drawn to being known and fangirling over our faves, the cost of it all, and the moral of the story. I didn't expect this book to be as personal and close as it was, and I appreciated that.

Much thanks to my former professor, Professor Larsen, without whom I would have never discovered this book. <3

I don't think I've encountered yearning in writing quite so good as this (and the following fic in the series). It's top tier!

Also, the cover is spectacular. Just perfect!!
