This book is real slow for the majority of it, but the end is signature Martin. Always leaves me wanting more.

I'm not sure if the translation was poor, or the writing just not very good. I wanted to love this book because I really loved the movie, but it wasn't nearly as interesting nor entertaining. Much of it doesn't make sense, plot points don't add up or add up too simply, and there's lots of questionable content as regards rape and "love." An odd book, but one at least with some interesting ideas and creative dream language.
