I really enjoy this series. With this being book 9, I’d recommend starting at the beginning and going from there as it may be hard to follow otherwise. It’s easy to find yourself sucked into the story with these characters and I found this one hard to put down. 

Full disclosure - I read this because my uncle’s name is Barry White and I couldn’t resist. With that being said, I did enjoy it. It takes pretty serious topics and handles them with care in the form of humor. While Barry is going through it, it’s an enjoyable story and it felt real which was fantastic. 

I think I am a victim of hype in this case. I wasn’t quite thrilled with it and I didn’t care for it that much. It was okay - but to warrant all the hype that’s been surrounding this book? I just don’t get it. 

This book was hilarious. The cover sold me but the story inside was just stellar. It was light and funny and everything I needed from it. Definitely enjoyed it!
