Nicole is such a great writer! I honestly felt like I was on the trail with her. 10/10 recommend =)

DNF'd at 47%. The writing was clunky AF, and the story was so boring. Lilly was "not like other girls" and did you know she has 4 brothers and she can take care of herself? Her brothers were mentioned like, every other page in the book. GOT IT. 4 brothers.

This book was not for me.

I could not get behind the author’s writing style. The book was a struggle and I heavily skimmed the 2nd half. I tend to devour hiking & adventure memoirs, so the fact that I skimmed this book is a big deal. I was so excited to read this, and I’m bummed that I was disappointed.
