KidVenture: Twelve Weeks to Midnight Blue is an adorable book for middle grade readers! It combines an entertaining story with educational lessons about creating a business and character. 

Chance is a ten year old boy on summer vacation and desperately wants a $225 bike called Midnight Blue. So, he decides to make a deal with his father to clean their pool every week in exchange for money he can put towards buying his new bike. What starts off as being paid for this chore turns into a summertime business.

Over the course of the summer, he adds a partner in his little sister, Addison, and even adds an employee in his best friend, Amit. Chance learns the different aspects that of what it takes to successfully run a business - marketing, profit and loss, honesty, perseverance and goal setting. 

This book did such a fantastic job at being educational and entertaining. It's a fantastic book for young readers to learn about having their own business.
