ok, but actually i'm sick to my stomach. thank GOD, i didn't get my hands on this at age 13

every year, I go into a new Katherine Center book convinced that it will be 5 stars and every year I just end up feeling so lukewarm about it. UGHH. I am on a continuously failing mission, but I'm no quitter!!! catch you next year, Kathy *military salute*

(this one was probably my favorite one of hers... i love screenwriters and surly boys named Charlie :’))

every single person who comes within five feet of me is going to get whacked in the head with this book. it Might be my new favorite Emily Henry and the world needs to know!!!

had a fun time but truly cannot give this any higher of a rating

four stars... but like a "five star" four stars... if you get it.

this is going to sound so incredibly annoying since Rebecca Serle is Rebecca Serle... BUUTTT in a world of "For fans of Emily Henry", this is the first book I've read where I believe the Venn diagram of people who enjoy EmHen's writing and this book's writing is just a circle.

Rebecca Serle's prose is so sharp, so good, it felt like a sigh of relief just knowing that the story was in such good hands. "we have to be cracked open sometimes" SHUHSSSHHHHHH!!!!

we did deserve one more chapter (minimum!!) and the third act is incredibly frustrating at times (but that's kind of the point). basically, this book contains multitudes and has a zany concept with intense heart and Very Complicated life lessons, so you should go in blind because whatever you think it'll be about... it's not about that.

p.s. me and Rebecca Serle have now entered into a very intense relationship where I will be devouring anything she has ever written. like that's my wife<3
