I've been in love with Dorian since the first book and I can honestly say that in my opinion this is easily the best book in the series (so far!). All the characters have come a long way, and Sarah's writing is just superb!

I saw the first 2 seasons of the show before I read the book so I may be a little biased as I've fallen in love with the characters the show runners had written. So this is probably one of those rare moments where I'll say that the show was definitely better than the book. But in all honesty, the characters and storylines were so much different we might as well not compare them to each other. I loved learning about the history, the beginnings of the ark, and the why-behind-the-what of the many divisions and culture differences on the ark though. Plot-wise, I think this book had really great potential. I'm just not a fan of how it was executed.
