This was good. Didn’t love it, as I found the ending to be flat.
Thank you to the publisher for a netgalley copy.
Really enjoyed the cat and mouse game in this one. This and Steadman's last one, The Family Game, are so twisty and fun. I read this in two sittings in one day and honestly only put it down because I HAD to go out. The intricacy of Nina and her dad' s relationship played well into the plot as well.
The Maria interludes at some points felt like they were slowing the pace a bit, as her inner dialogue was super repetitive, but it wound up tying in nicely.

Really enjoyed this one. Page turner and then knowing this is a pen name for CJ Cooke made it better as I enjoy the books under that name as well.
The ending was really well done!

This was a reread for me. And I loved it even more.
Tears still flowed.

This book was fun. Watching Margo grow and see her relationships change was really well done. The ending felt a little forced but otherwise, really enjoyed it!
Thank you to celadon and Netgalley.
I loved The Plot. So I was kind of shocked to see a sequel, but was also thrilled to get an early read.
There were parts of this book I loved and there were some that I just couldn’t let go of that much belief. At times the writing just felt like unlimited inner dialogue from Anna.
Overall, I flew through thjs one. And I def recommend for those who enjoyed The Plot! I do think you must read that one first.
