Foul Heart Huntsman was a good read, but it falls into the same problem that "Our Violent Ends" did. There is something about how Chloe Gong writes her duology's that causes me to be to completely enraptured by the first book, and then when I return to read the second one I end up feeling less of that same fire, and more of the warm hearth of a comfort series.
Foul Heart Huntsman takes this to a whole new level with bringing back the whole crew to both solve and cause chaos.

"Have any of you played Dice & Deathtraps before?"
TLDR:
D&D is for The Gays, and the friends we made along the way.
So Wholesome, and made me nostalgic for my first campaign and the friends I made during it. As well as how tabletop RPGs as whole have helped me grow as person.

Imagine "My Hero Academia" ... Where Izuku never got One For All but actually put his intellect to use and trained...
That is the first half of this Volume, which I think is really cool...
But by the second half we quickly realized that's not the case, and that it is very likely that our Protagonist John has a Power like everyone else we meet in this world.
Which is when I instantly lost all my interest in this story line honestly...
We have so many of these super strong guy, goes to far and is traumatized by it and has to make amends stories, it doesn't FEEL new or interesting.
