It's Gay, and you will kick your feet from the cuteness .

It's one volume, so it is a delicious little snack to have, curled up in a cozy blanket, with some cocoa.

I have read this book volume twice this year (I swear I reviewed it when I read it in May but no bringing it back now) and enjoyed it thoroughly both times.

Flow is such an interesting concept, especially since in the world Urushibara has created it is both explained to some extent by science and also is still a lot of complete unknowns to it.
Does it scientifically actually make sense? Nah. But it's still cool!

Overall this book gives me the similar vibes to Mushishi... Which on further knowledge checks out since Urushibara Yuki also wrote Mushishi.

There are no less then 11 depictions of cat balls.

I was unsure, if I would want to continue this series when I finished it initially because I could see how this could become stale and worried about it. But now knowing that this is only a 3 volume Series (18 chapters), I think I will definitely read the rest.

CW: Assault, Blood, Child Death/Death, Drugs, Gore, Gun Violence, Human/Medical Experimentation, Hospitalization, Kidnapping, Murder, Needles, Poison, Torture, Minor Transphobia, Violence, And War.

It would be wrong to say "It's Gay and It Slaps" but this book does squarely sit in the Queer Rep, category. With Celia taking a much more prominent role in this book alongside her sister Rosalind, who we find out sits somewhere in the ace spectrum.

This book was honestly a blast from beginning to end for me, I enjoyed the switch in Point of Views between Rosalind, Orion, Celia, and Oliver. Though later we drop off more to just Rosalind and Orion's POV.

I was a sucker for the Married for The Mission plotline, paired with Rosalind trying to do Spy work when normally her normal area is strictly assassinations. Also Orion and and Rosalind's banter is top notch the entire time, and also adorable especially the way Orion's terms of endearment shift towards Rosalind as they grow closer.

The twists that are pulled out or the woodwork at the end of this book. Had me honestly so excited, because I'm normally the type of person who puts pieces together before the big reveal but I was genuinely shocked, I had to pause and get up from my desk at work to process what just happened after the first reveal because it was so shocking.

Then our second reveal, I do feel like I have to reread this book with that knowledge to see if I can find any clues in the text that would have clued me into them as our BBEG.

The third reveal ended up being the only one that I was even semi close on and even then I had uncertainty on who that individual was, especially after the first reveal. But looking back all the close Gong gives since in alluding to them.

TLDR: This Book was great, I love this series, someone come read it with me so I can gush about it.

Re-read: 1-18-24

This book was interesting, and had a lot of helpful ideas and activities to apply when struggling with grief but also just generally if your Mental Health is suffering.
Like many Self Help books I would recommend the "Take What You Need" approach but it helps that Devine writes in such a compassionate voice that you feel like you are speaking with a friend which reading. She is gentle and reassuring in how she approaches topics.
I would recommend this book to someone who is struggling and needing some help.

This manga had No Right to do the things it did to my heart. I wasn't sure I would like this in the beginning, it seemed like a typical Shonen Manga. But by the end of this Manga I was nearly in tears with the heart wrenching story Uta Isaki was portraying.
Like I'm overall kinda meh on the overall premise, but also after that last "episode"/Story arc. I desperately need to know what other stories Isaki will include in their story going forward.
SO I will probably continue, at least one more volume because I can see myself becoming attached to the Protagonists and the going-ons in their world.

Sapphic Carmilla Retelling!!!!

It's Gay and IT SLAPS!
and Stephanie Cannon's narration was captivating,
And this book gets spicy towards the end.

Watching the relationship develop between Laura and Camilla is really interesting. But also watching Camilla slowly realize that the relationship she's been in with De Lafontaine is Toxic.

This story at it's core is about "What would you be willing to do for love?"

Friends don't let friends make a deals with demons, and this story is about the consequences of making a deal with a demon to fix the deal with a demon your friend made.

This book had it's high points, including a point that so poignantly depicted the absolute silence that was being being inflicted, that I could FEEL IT. But there were other points where it felt like it was just going through the motions to get to these point where it shined.

The ending ended up feeling like one of those motions, not actually being a point where it shined.

Cute but slightly kooky woman? ✔️
Dramatic set of events that only happen in RomComs? ✔️
Non-binary and Gay bestfriend out here trying to set the two up? ✔️

I have been in want of a 2000s-isk RomCom for a while and "My Coworker Has a Secret!" hits all the marks.

It's a lot of fun, and I had a great time reading it and blew thru the volume because I was enjoying it so much.

Given this is One of a Two Volume set, I will likely pick up the other one to complete the series.
