I honestly felt like this was an exciting premise, and frankly, a part of me wants to say unique. I thought about the plot trying to think of another Manga with a similar setup, and I found none. And only a few that use it in western media, my brain pulls specifically Barbie's Princess and the Pauper, and even then, that still feels as if it merely shares one trait.
Besides what ended up feeling like a unique premise, I found myself falling in love with Nina and how sweet she is, especially with the relationships she builds, specifically with the Little Prince.
I WILL be continuing with this manga.

This was a constant swing between unbelievably wholesome to Cringe levels rivaling My Immortal.
While the cringe is infinite, there is a good story about growing into your most authentic self.

This was an interesting read, so much so that I wanted to start it again from the beginning so that I could better experience all of the overlapping stories that are going on. There is a lot going on in this book, and it honestly doesn't become completely clear until the very end.
This book is an example of "You never know what someone is going through". Capturing the gossip that comes with living in a small town, and the pretenses that come with everyone always knowing who you are.

This took a turn I was not expecting. This story is only told through images, and it works for the story just fine. It was a funny read overall, definitely the type of work that would have adolescents laughing at it.
Content Warning for Graphic Depictions of Canabilisim, Torture, Violence, and Suicide. Along with depictions of sexual assault.
(This list is by no means inclusive since I hadn't thought I'd need to make one going into this)
I made it through the first half of this book relatively fine, like a train wreck. As long as I was observing and not processing it, I was fine. But when I stopped reading and stepped back, the thought of returning to Harlow held no interest to me. If anything, the idea disgusted me.
This book is a perfect example of the Hero's Journey, meaning instead of getting the resolution that feels appropriate after roughly 6 hours. We are just finding the abyss, and the next 6 hours are more brutal than the first 6. Except their character growth doesn't happen with Quinn, and not enough time is spent with Beth to make it worth it.
And Quinn sure as hell hadn't done the work to deserve "the Goddess's Gift" at the end.
While this book is listed as a horror, it is honestly where I found it lacking the most. It is a horror in the same way that slasher movies are a horror. The horror aspect of this almost entirely sits in the grotesque use of violence.

This book was gorgeous beginning to end, I had chills more then once as I listened to this book.
It's written in Verse, and tells two amazing love stories. As well as stories about women persevering regardless of what would be considered normal during that time.
I loved this book SO MUCH!

TLDR: The Road to Hell is Paved in Good Intentions.
We've all heard that they used to rob graves so that doctors-in-training could use them as cadavers. This book covers this and more, stemming all the way into the modern day.
This book was interesting overall, but I deeply disliked the constant reference to go see Podcast A or B. Because it comes in the form of the narrator listing off the URL. It reminds me of when someone prints off a document that used a hyperlink to link to other resources. I'm not able to really use this while I'm listening to a book, and can't really find in going back to it.

There isn't a good reason as to why, but I was under the impression this was set in modern day England. Even though the description clearly states "Elizabethan England" and I put that blame fully on Daisy's character design overall, the hair and clothing are not fitting for the era at all. Where at least the side characters feel closer to accurate.
This book gave me some Kiki's Delivery Service vibes, but mostly Disney Movie vibes, Especially with a line that says "It's my decision! I'm twelve years old, you can't tell me what to do anymore!" I had a hard time taking it seriously after that to be honest.
Overall it was an decent story though.
