I could not put this book down! I loved the mystery of the trials and anticipating what could be next. It was surely unpredictable and I was fully entertained. Lori’s life is an epic journey and I can’t wait to see what is next.

You will immediately be hooked into this action packed story! Starting with the prologue, you will be wanting more. I had so much fun reading Alius Academy and I know you will too. This book is great for readers who want to be transported to magical schools such as Hogwarts or my personal favorite- Halloweentown University. I can’t wait to see what is in store for Lori in book two, Alius Trials!

I loved that this book was pirate-themed without using the word pirate. I admire that Young used her world building to create the world of pirates and didn’t rely on having to tell us. This was a quick read, it only took me two days to get through it. Fable, our main character, left us on quite a cliffhanger- I look forward to continuing the series.
