FINALLY I'M DONE WITH THIS! This took me over a month to finish and that's unheard of for me but I honestly couldn't have cared less about this.

There is simply NOTHING intriguing about this book and the only reason I made it through is the amount of praise I've heard for Mistborn and Brandon Sanderson. I kept waiting to be pulled into this but god damn this book is slow and there's not a single thing that kept me curious about what would happen next.

I liked this more than I thought I would. And it was a really fast read.

I was expecting full on smut, not feelings. Now I need to read the whole series.

I was going through a bit of a rough patch while I was reading this so I was glad about this being fast-paced and a quick read.

WHAT THE FUCK?!

I waited TWO YEARS and all I got was ANOTHER fbaa retelling? As if A Shadow in the Ember wasn't close enough?! This is so rude!

Why the fuck does JLA keep coming back to the first book?? I am so pissed about this. I waited TWO YEARS to get more of the story and I'm served THIS? I am so disappointed.

(I did read it in like three days so that's way better than I was expecting.)

It took me a month to read this giant and 90% of the time I felt so stupid.

Honestly, I was so bored most of the time. I thought about DNF'ing this a lot. But I finally read it and I don't regret a single thing. And obviously I have to read the next one too and finish the whole series after coming this far.

This was such a fun, light and smutty read. If it looks like something you'd enjoy you probably will.

This was way better than the first book in the series but I'm not too fond so I might not read the next one.
