Now that I'm finished I can only think: "Oh, Magnus". He is amazing chacrater and I love him and his sass. I also started to like Alec more. There wasn't much about him TMI - well, there was, but there wasn't... I really feel for Alec now. And the last chapter, the last pages - I just want to cry.
Magnus' style is basically the most amazing thing in life and I want his wardrobe. But I did wonder what he was thinking back in 1989 with that pink shirt? It doesn't sound like him, tbh.
I hope Magnus Bane never dies and Cassie will write a new book about him. Or tell her offsprings to write about him after she's gone. And even if I'm not there to read it, someone is and that somewill love our Mr.Bane! Magnus Bane should never die. Never.

Wow! Was not expecting that plot twist. And I'm pretty sure there's something off about the ending.
Refused to go to sleep before reading the ending. If today was an early morning I might regret it.
Really liked that there was a steady supply of clues and it was annoying in a way that I like these sort of mysteries to be. It left room for my own theories and every question answered just brought up more questions.

This took me a forever to finish but I managed.
I liked it. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a good fantasy book but something heavier than some of the young adult fantasy books that I usually read. Throne of Glass fans might enjoy this if they're open to it.

This series would be so cool as a TV series. I like how there are plenty of leads and suspects and plot twists, never a dull moment.
Going into this I didn't realize this was part of the Grishaverse series. I didn't even know what the Grishaverse was, I'd just heard it mentioned.
But after a couple of chapters it was clear I shouldn't have been reading this (yet I still finished it). There's history, world building and magic systems that are not explained at all and it made reading this very confusing. Honestly, this shouldn't be considered a duology. The previous books of the Grishaverse should be mentioned SOMEWHERE in the description, not just on the back cover as if they're just promoting other books by the same author.
However, I still liked the story and the characters a lot. I just read this because I had heard good things and now I just can't feel the same. I'd only recommend this to people who have read other books in the Grishaverse series, although I'm not sure if you're supposed to read all of them or just some of them because this book definitely has spoilers about the previous books.
Now I'm kind of worried about reading The Six of Crows because I heard people promoting it on pretty much every platform but no one has mentioned anything about the Shadow and Bone trilogy that came before it.
