why did everyone I follow rate this so low

It was fine. It was a very slow build, which was nice. But it felt like the characters didn't really grow or change at all. Also only like 3 things happened.
But hey, that cliffhanger

I was really enjoying the beginning. It dragged a bit in the middle which I didn't love but the end is definitely interesting enough to read the next one
