I was hooked right from the beginning. Sybella is a much more interesting character than Ismae was. She had so much fight and her hate fire keeps her going. I will fight anyone for Sybella. She's so strong and has been through so much and she deserves to be protected for once OK. (She wouldn't allow it but WHATEVER.) I was getting teary af toward the end. She just suffered a lot and her story resonated with me idk.

The romance was SO SOFT. Its what we deserve. It was stupid sappy.

Tbh I cannot put in to articulate words how much this story has meant to me. I honestly love Lada with my whole soul. I don't think I'll ever find another character like her and it makes me sad. This world needs more girls willing to rip out the throats of men who stand in their way. Okay?
Every thing Kiersten described was so vivid and I could feel the victory Lada felt.
I'll think about this story for years to come.
