Oh no I Loved this.
This shit slapped so hard. I'm upset I waited so long to read it. Its not what I thought it was going to be. It was better. I put off reading it for so long because I thought it was going to be like a whole cast of characters and didn't have that energy but it wasn't and all the characters were great and I love them
It has the energy of Evie from the Mummy proudly declaring that she is a librarian. Iconic.

I would've given it 5 stars but there was an unnecessary incest plot point and like. That's the one thing I don't fuck with at all.

I liked it.
Some of the dialogue was mad cringey and the romance was very instalove.
The setting was cool though and I'd like to learn more about the world and the magic system.

I could not tell you what this book was about but I loved it??? I've never had a book take me out so hardcore. I was so out of it while listening to this. Like I'd recommend it if you like kind of fucked up, cerebral fantasy that takes you for a slow walk off a cliff

This was beautifully written and v soft.
But nothing happened until about halfway through and 2 of the 4 POVs didn't really have complete character arcs??

It was fine I guess. I love Lancelot and only Lancelot
