I was super annoyed the first third but once it got all romancey it was tolerable

This book was good but it felt so long. I don't know if that's because the last 2 weeks have been long as hell or because this book was just so long.

I was p excited about a fat mc!! But then there were dark skinned "savages" attacking them in the jungle and I'm tired.
Also 10% in and all the mc talked about was food, being jealous of her sister, and being intimidated by her new husband

It was dark and disgusting and bittersweet. I need a hot shower and some cocoa and a hug.
