For some reason, I didn't expect to love this. AND I WAS ABSOLUTELY WRONG.
WOW.
WOW.
THIS BOOK.
I LOVED THIS BOOK.
I don't know how to describe my feelings about it. Just everything about the world building and the character building was phenomenal. The story was original and fun. I loved this book.
There's so much more development to come and I can't wait.

I'm almost surprised by how quickly I listened to this. I love Kovothe's rambling adventures.
From What I've gathered, there's only supposed to be one more book (because Kovothe only has 1 more day to tell him story) but I really don't see how this can be wrapped up in one more book. Regardless, I can't wait for the next installment.

Ethnographies just aren't my thing I'm sorry
I actually enjoyed this a lot.
It wasn't what I thought it was going to be but I ended up really invested in the story. It was predictable at times, but done in a way that was original and fun.
I can't wait to read the sequel.

Machiavelli's writing is dry, repetitive, and sexist.

I actually really enjoyed this.
It added new perspective to everything we've been taught since 9/11 and to everything I've learned this semester.
it flipped a lot of assumptions of their heads and its definitely worth a read, as its only 150 pages and thought provoking.
