This was a fun, fast read and I thought it was well written and enjoyed seeing how Darcy and Elizabeth interacted. I plan to read more by this author in the future.

This was a really fun and sweet retelling of The Frog Prince and I look forward to reading more of this authors fairy tale retellings in the future.
Loveable characters: Yes

This was a very enjoyable retelling of Cinderella and I liked the fact that her stepsister Lacey was not a bad person and actually becomes an ally of sorts and begins to try and repent and treat Cinderella nicely. The end was also really nice and wraps things up nicely as well as giving readers a glimpse into the future. I look forward to reading more fairy tale retellings by this author in the future.

This was another very enjoyable fairy tale retelling by Jenni James. I enjoyed this retelling of the Twelve Dancing Princesses and seeing how everything worked itself out at the end as well as the way the author summarized Casey and Aleck's future. I look forward to reading more Fairy Tale Retellings by this author in the future.

This book was my first book by Robin O'Connor & it was a really good introduction to the world that the Serpents of Serant Series takes place in and I loved getting to know all the characters. Vera and Zathar made a great couple and I was glad to see them end up so happy together and how everything turned out for them. This book also has a preview for the next book in the series The Naga Brute's Warrior Mate about Zathar's friend Iave and his human mate Kalani that looks like it will be a really good read as well and I look forward to reading it as well as other books in this series in the future.

This is a very interesting adaptation of the Little Mermaid that has some reference to the six swans with Margareta taking a vow of silence to break the curse that turned her brothers into birds although here it's twelve brothers into ravens instead of six into swans and her brothers deserved to be cursed rather than being victims. I liked the characters of Erik and Margareta as well as Penelope and look forward to reading more about them in future stories.

Series Character & Story Connections for Silence: Little Mermaid Retold (Book #05)
To read about where Margareta's brothers went and how Corbin broke his wing during their attempts to break the curse, their story is told in Revel: Twelve Dancing Princesses Retold (Book #04)
To read about Rosamond, whose story starts at Margareta and Erik's coronation, it's in Awaken: Sleeping Beauty Retold (Book #06)
If you'd like to read Melitta's tale, when she's all grown up, it's in Embellish: Brave Little Tailor Retold (Book #07)
If you’re looking for Penelope and Godfrey’s story, it’s in Float: Enchanted Horse Retold (Book #19)

This story was a really interesting read, and I enjoyed all the glimpses into the other stories in the series as Briska worked behind the scenes to see the various couples get together safely. It took a few chapters for me to get into the story but then it was really enjoyable.

Here are a few examples of the many stories connected and mentioned in Melt: Snow Queen Retold
The next tale in this series is Spin: Rumpelstiltskin Retold (Book #13)
Maram and Aladdin find their happily-ever-after (and Amani is freed) in Wish: Aladdin Retold (Book #11)
Tale of Hansel and Gretel (who lied about being siblings) is in Return: Hansel and Gretel Retold (Book #10)
Tale of Melitta, George and the dragon is in Embellish: Brave Little Tailor Retold (Book #07)

This was an interesting Snamione time travel story where Hermione goes back to Severus' 7th year at Hogwarts. The Marauders are not as involved in this story as in other's I have seen and are more an occasional background nuisance. I enjoyed the writing and how the story flowed and really liked the epilogue at the end.
