This book was a really fun Retelling of Puss in Boots and I appreciated that the author added a brief summary of the original fairy tale at the beginning because this isn't a fairy tale that I was as familiar with. The characters are all really fun and I enjoyed all the different ways each character interacted with Faye's inherited cat Baldwin. This book is connected with Callie and the Pumpkin Seed: A Cinderella Retelling and all the main characters (except Baldwin) were originally introduced previously so it is more enjoyable to read them together but it could probably work as a standalone as well. I look forward to reading more fairy tale retellings by this author in the future since I have loved each one so far.

I LOVED this Retelling of Cinderella that includes a touch of the Princess and the Pea in the last quarter of the book as well. All the characters were well written and Callie was so sweet and caring. I also loved Prince Everett and all of his jokes and puns throughout the story. This was such a great retelling and I look forward to reading this books companion Faye and the Feline Feat: A Puss in Boots Retelling featuring Callie's friend Faye.

This book is the 5th book in the Earth's Children Series and takes place after Ayla and Jondalar finally reach his home the 9th cave. I really enjoyed this book and getting to meet all of Jondalar's family as well other members of the Zelandonii. As always with the books in this series there is a bit too much detail about the area and research about the period but there is more story and focus on the people as well so it is not too much skipping in this book.

This was another fun instalove standalone story set in Rosewood Ridge that focuses on Trace & Presley. While each book is about a different couple and can be read on it's own it is fun to see the occasional reference to characters from previous or upcoming books when you are reading the series as a whole. I look forward to reading more from this series and author.

This was my first book by Kenzie Skye and I thought it was an enjoyable retelling of Sleeping Beauty with a lot of details and world building packed into a fairly quick read. I look forward to seeing what Fairy Tale Retellings are added to this series in the future.

I love this series and all the characters but since the characters are traveling the author includes a lot of research about the environment and history of the regions that I wound up skimming to get back to the story. I loved when they came across other groups of people though.

This was another great book in the Monster Mercenary Mates Series and I really enjoyed getting to know Mitnick better as well as his human mate Harper. They were a great couple and it was fun to see how their relationship developed. I look forward to reading the next book in this series as well as more of Robin O'Connor's other books.

This was a quick and fun monster romance featuring a human and a lizardman and I am glad that I came across it. It is fairly lighthearted and the epilogue leaves them off in a good place. I plan to look into reading more by this author in the future.

This was the final book in the Rosewood Ridge Rescue series and revolves around Dyson & Tori getting together during the aftermath of the previous book in the series. Each book in this series can be read as a standalone since they are all about different characters but do take place in the same town so if you read the previous books you can pick up on character references and enjoy hearing how characters from previous books are doing. I look forward to seeing what the next series will be about.
