I knew someday, after hate reading possibly one hundred mafia romance books, I would finally find one that didn't make my skin crawl and me want to tear my hair out. Better than The Professional IMO, but what do I know.

This was so bad. So very bad. Kindle Unlimited, hast thou forsaken me? My standards are so low! What must I do?

Filing this under soulless timewasters I don't rememer why I downloaded in the first place.

A pretty cute lil sports romance.

I’m so boooored, Booktok. I waited in Libby purgatory for 16 weeks for this Lifetime wannabe romantic comedy nonsense? Skipped ahead to the spice, since apparently it is so “shocking,” 😴😴😴😴🛌

I'm gonna be honest - I liked this one a lot buuuuut I'm a little nervous about the sheer amount of vivisection we've been promised in the next book.

What an absurd little book. Still hilarious - even though it was written in the 1930s.

It pains me to rate any Kresley Cole lower than 5 stars but Malcolm was a twat and I'm a fictional girl's girl.

Daisy: I hate Matthew.

*Matthew re-appears after years, now unreasonably hot"

Daisy: Wait, no . . . uhhh

Devil In Winter is obviously the best, but this was cute as heck and predicable in the way all Kleypas books are. Now if Kleypas could just go back and rewrite certain parts of Lilian's book It Happened One Autumn, that'd be real cool. As it stands I still prefer the Hathaways series. But this series is great, too.
