ich hätte dieses buch einfach schon vor 15 jahren lesen sollen
es ist so gut ich liebe es so sehr holy shit

ich bin am überlegen die reihenfolge meines noch-zu-lesen-stapels zu ignorieren um das nächste buch direkt zu lesen was einfach sonst nie vorkommt

I am so in love with this series and this part was just as good as the others

the case stuff was exciting to read but I loved all of the peoplebonding so much more
the team itself continueing to be great friends
casey and carval being good together and admitting their feelings to each other and other people

and going on a much deserved holiday at the end

was very nice I am absolutely here for it

I personally love Dr. Renfrew and I am starting to be slightly annoyed by the team not liking him as much as me xD which is fair they don't have the same kind of information I have

speaking of Dr. Renfrew. him and Kent and the other guy whose name I forgot worked so well together. The way they're all dealing with that bullshit marcol is doing, and some of the other cops just makes me very happy.
and I'd gladly read more about those three guys.

also KAYLA WAS MENTIONED AGAIN and casey is going to hang out with her and I am super excited about that. also I hope we see Dani again. like not necessarily case related since she's not homicide but generally I want to see her again.

I love the in death series
reading a new one feels like coming home cause you already know the characters so well (after all this is book nimber 41) bit it's still exciting a new and I just LOVE the relationships of the characters

and yes the case was also very good

Jill Andersen my beloved
I have been waiting for this book for so long and it did not disappoint and I am so happy about that

part of me wishes it had spent more time with the other characters I came to love in the past 5 books but at the same time it was perfect the way it was so that's fun

I kind of hope jill actually talks to her friends more about all the stuff she's having to do in the coming book(s) like I need that for my health and all

also aaaaaaaaaahhhhh at the end
BUT ALSO

I am so damn glad she didn't actively kill gregor. like it sucks that the richards guy did it but I am very happy she didn't do it
