HOPEFUL... I did not expect to feel that at the end of this book. This story and all it's characters are truly brilliantly done. Sarah J Maas did some great work crafting this. I know there'll be more and it'll be interesting to see them rebuild but this is satisfying, these characters get given the chance they've fought so hard for Bryce and Hunt, Lidia and Ruhn, and all the rest. Beautiful.

I genuinely loved this book, actually. I don't know if it's supposed to be funny but there's a lot of humour in here, really made me laugh places. Tense in other places though. It honestly feels like a soap opera in a war torn fantasy setting, and that vibe works. The characters are lovable and well written, I saw other people complain that they hate how modern the characters talk because it's a fantasy setting, i do not understand that because each world can sound differently and this is just how this world sounds.

Now the dragons. The dragons are my absolute favourite part of this book and probably book series. Their characterisation, their different personalities, the sarcastic too and fro between Tairn and Violet. How they talk in each other's heads... all this makes for something endlessly enjoyable.

This book is a loveable fantasy about a girl discovering she's a witch, a Bell Witch. Shes part of a family of witches, well every second generation is a witch, grandmother and granddaughter. But things aren't that simple especially when there's love other magical things that aren't witches out there... this book was brilliant in how it let you discover the mistery of everything's going on. I really enjoyed this read, much recommended.

This was amazing, definitely emotional at times with Skandar feeling those tough contradictory feelings about his mother... A. F. Really know how to world build, this is magical... then the ending hurt me, i loved Flo and Skandar so much.

I really enjoyed this book, I thought i would based on how much i love the Shadowhunter books. Cassandra Clare's Sword Catcher is good introduction to a new world and a new set of characters in a very familiar, to me, style. This book feels very much like a set up, I expect The Ragpicker King will be where shit really hits the fan and I can't wait.
