my throat is sore from how much i screamed reading the last like two hundred pages my god
This book is a great base for learning about trauma and how we can heal from what happened to us. There was a lot of stuff that I was already aware of, and I got a bit annoyed at the repetition of certain messages; however, I still gained a ton of insight, particularly from chapter 6. The emphasis on “what didn’t happen to you” towards the end really drove everything home. Great book for those trying to understand and jumpstart the healing process.
