AHH what can I say? This book was beyond perfection!

First, thank you so much to Laura for sending me a Physical Arc of this beautiful book with some goodies: a map of Novisia and a bookmark for each of the region. I used these two goodies throughout reading this book by using the bookmark to keep track of the 4 POV and the coloured map to make sense of all the different city in this beautiful world.

Short Review:
This book was beautiful in every way! It is a fantasy book that is based in a universe called The Kingdom of Novisia and follows 4 POVs of each ruler from one of the realms in the kingdom. Accordingly, there are four realms, which all differ in their ecosystem & are known as: Keres, Vala, Garridon & Nerida. The book starts out very captivating, as it builds up to the explosion mentioned in the synopsis that kills off the majority of the royal family. Laura's writing flows so well, as she navigates all the different POVs and I didnt feel as if there was any difficulty following along the story at all! I loved learning about all the four different realms, the different heirs and this magical world and I cant wait for the rest of the series! As of the time being, my favourite character is Elisara and Larelle. My least favourite has to be Caellum, heir of Garridon. If I could live in The Kingdom of Novisia, I think I'd want to be part of the Vala or Nerida.
