4.5 ⭐ the writing was soo good but this was SO sad, I wish the description of the plot was more detailed lolol

Lowkey why was this so good

I love Melissa Broders weird mind, like where do these ideas come from

Ok actually I loved this... The story was so good and so well paced to aid character development, the trans mc was so good, the romance was so cute :') in between the lines queer readers will find relatable themes like existing in the body you were given, found family, worrying about going to hell, having to teach everyone else about who you are. Such good, consistent layers within the writing and wrapped up to a satisfying and hopeful conclusion

Great book to just read and turn my brain off to

This was good, but not good enough for the amount of effort I had to put in to keep myself reading. I have a lot of thoughts so I'm putting them in pros/cons, 3.5 ⭐
Pros:
-the characters all felt very real (especially Yale, he was my fave
