This book was pretty good! There were some more adult elements in it I could’ve done without, but overall it was a great story. I really liked how the author ended it.
I was sucked into this book so fast! It usually takes me a long time to read a book, but I finished this in two days. I couldn’t put it down. I can’t wait to read the second one! The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is I wasn’t a huge fan of the short chapters. They got a bit annoying sometimes, but the story was amazing.
I wanted a book that made me feel. I didn’t realize I was picking up a book that would make me feel this big of feelings. Words don’t do the thoughts I have justice. It’s so beautifully written and captures grief in such a pure way. The greatest thing I appreciate is the vast majority of the book focuses on grief in the years past the initial tragedy. It isn’t just a widow turned lover in no time, but a grieving widow who finds herself and her own identity outside of her deceased husband. So unbelievably perfect.
