*clears throat* EVERYONE PLEASE READ THIS BOOK!

La Vie De Guinevere by Paula Lafferty has been one of my most anticipated indie reads since it was released! When the audiobook dropped on Audible, I knew it was time. Julia Whelan did such an amazing job as always. I could listen to her for forever!

This story has time travel, Arthurian retelling, magic, and the perfect dash of feminism. It’s seriously everything I hoped it would be! Paula has also hinted that the story is going trad soon, so if you want the indie copy, now is the time! 😍

I just can’t with how much I loved this book. Please for all that is good and holy, READ IT. Thanks 🤗

ARC review:  4.5 ⭐️

I really loved this story! As someone who has struggled for years with body image issues, I appreciated the approach that Katherine Center took with Emily’s own struggles. The concept of loving our bodies and different pieces of it is so so hard for so many people. I felt seen and I know many other readers are going to as well.

I also loved the dynamic between Rue, Hutch, and Cole. It was a really beautiful story! A found family trope is one of my favorites, but can sometimes feel very cookie cutter, but the way this one was approached was pure perfection!

“You’re the moon and I’m the tides. You pull me in without even trying, and I come to you willingly. I always will.”

Well, hello there, Weston Ryder 😍 Look, I love me a good enemies to lovers, but there is something about a man who is so down bad for a girl from the get go for me!

Ada is a recent divorceé who meets Wes with no real intention for it to go anywhere. Turns out this sweet little muffin of a man is exactly what she needs and she is exactly what he needs.

The way he talked to her just had me melting 🫠

“You are earnest and talented, tenacious and funny. I would never insult you by calling you something as generic as nice.“

On a journey to find more Cowboy romances, so after lots of recs, I decided to try Done & Dusted again. This book is proof that just because you DNF a book once doesn’t mean you can’t try again because I loved it so much this time around! I guess the mood just wasn’t right before.

I got major Chloe Liese vibes from Lyla’s writing style. I love the ADHD rep, the cozy romance, with a dash of cowboy. This was a cute and fun adventure. Can’t wait to dive in to the rest of the series.

The character development in this one is amazing!! I love love love the women in this series so far! It seems to be an unpopular opinion, but Nynaeve is one of my favs. Excited to read the next one!
