I really loved this 😍 I truly don’t know what it is about YA books like this but I just love them so much 😭 like I am 30 years old over here kicking my feet and giggling over 2 dumb (said with affection) high school seniors 🤭 The friends to lovers trope is just seriously top tier for me, the yearning kills me in the best way! I adored both Ivelisse & Joaquin so much! They seriously had the sweetest friendship and it was just amplified when they finally admitted their feelings for each other 🥺 It did stress me out a little during the miscommunication aspect but honestly it made sense for the story! Overall, very much loved this one!! ♥️

I really really liked this one!!! The concept was incredible and it was executed so well! I did get a little bored right in the middle but it picked right back up again within a couple chapters so it wasn’t a big deal! It was also a great book to finish (I say this like I don’t read spooky books all year lol) the season out! This is definitely one I recommend!!

Amanda Lovelace’s poetry always brings me a sense of peace and makes me feel empowered in who I am and this collection was no different! 🩷

God, this book was disappointing 😭 I was so excited and had such high expectations going in but it really just was not on par with the rest of the series 🤷🏻‍♀️ It had all the makings of being a favorite with the forbidden, brothers best friend aspect! I really enjoyed the first 20ish% but once the main conflict was resolved, it was so repetitive and honestly boring and I just wanted it to be over 😅 For two people that grew up together, they really just felt like strangers and there was no real relationship development. I also don’t feel like we ever really got to know Easton or Knox much at all so I just didn’t feel invested in them as individuals or as a couple. Hoping the next book in the series will be more enjoyable 🤷🏻‍♀️

Another one I’ve had sitting on my shelf for years 🙈 finally picked this one up to fill a prompt on one of my book bingos and I really enjoyed it! The premise made me think of king Midas which made me think of The Chocolate Touch, which was one of my favorite books as a kid! I enjoyed this one way more than I expected for a book with a snake on the cover 😂 overall, it was just really intriguing and I’d recommend it!

I’ve had this one on my self since it was released in 2021 and I’m so glad I finally picked it up! This one kept me guessing throughout the entire story! One of the mysteries, I knew pretty early on but I honestly love being able to parse out the mystery before it’s revealed so that’s a good thing in my book! The main reveal was honestly insane and I can’t imagine being so desperate to get into college that you’d kill someone but to each their own I guess 😂😅 overall, this was a really intriguing story that kept me enthralled from start to finish!

I didn’t expect to love this one as much as I did but it was so good!! It was a perfect mix of cute and sad and funny and mysterious and intriguing while also having the perfect autumn atmosphere! I really loved both Florence & Ben and their chemistry was both heart wrenching and swoon worthy! I loved the supernatural aspect and thought it was utilized so well throughout the story! Just really loved everything about this one 🥰

I’m really starting to believe that anthologies just aren’t for me 😅 I love the idea for them and I’m not gonna give up on them completely because there’s still a few that I really want to read but I just always seem to love one or two stories and want more of those and then just feel very meh about the others! I do love the concept and thought most of the stories had great bones! So if you enjoyed anthologies then I would recommend it!

This book kept me so hooked! It was definitely a difficult read at times because it deals with some really difficult topics including homophobia, death, bullying, racism, and abuse to name a few. I loved the dark academia setting, it was especially perfect for this time of year! At first, I honestly thought this was set in college because the characters just seem older than 15-16 but it didn’t deter from the YA aspect. I loved the audiobook, it had multiple narrators so it made it easy to distinguish between the 3 povs! I also really liked all 3 of the main characters and being in each of their heads was such a different experience but helped really round out the story! Overall, I just really enjoyed this one and definitely recommend!!
