I’m truly a sucker for anything The Little Mermaid related so its no surprise that I loved every piece of this book with my entire being! ♥️

“Because you go somewhere else when you read. I want to go there with you.”

This book made my heart melt in all the right places throughout. I’m a sucker for a good fake relationship trope and this hit all the marks. Cheesy, dramatic, adorable, emotional, and squeal worthy. Was it life changing? No. But did it make me giddy, bring me joy, and distract me from real life? Very much so. So that’s a win in my book!

Where do I even start? I’ve been wanting to read this book for awhile so I was so excited when I was finally able to buy it. Then I started it and the first few chapters didn’t pull me in the way I thought they would (I think it was mainly that all of the boarding school stuff confused me so it didn’t really click with me) so I was disappointed because I thought I wasn’t going to like it but then the plot started really kicking in and the next thing I knew all I could think about was these characters. While Sage, Charlie, Nick, and Luke each had their own flaws about them, they all stole my heart and made me root for them. The relationships made my heart clinch in the best way and the friendships made my heart so happy. ☺️ I just really loved this book ♥️

I would honestly read anything in the IWYATB universe. This little short story made my heart melt in all the best ways. Ben & Nathan forever

I forgot how much I love Stella and Oliver

I know they’re not a real band but Alec is my favorite member of the heartbreakers, I love him so much

I had been looking forward to reading this book from the moment I read the synopsis, a sapphic fairytale? Yes please! While I really enjoyed this book, I did have some issues with it. It took so long to get to the main battle of this book, the build up was just so long and I could’ve done without a big chunk of the middle. I also got really annoyed with Sophias obsession with Erin, mainly because I just couldn’t stand Erin from the very first chapter and I was dying for Sophia to move on to someone that would actually love and appreciate her. But besides that, I really enjoyed this book! Sophia was a great protagonist and it was so easy to root for her! I also really really loved Constance and wish we got more of her and their relationship. I did not see the plot twist coming so that was really fun! Anyway, definitely recommend ☺️

I’ve never read a book with so many plot twists, oh my god. Probably one of my favorite mysteries I’ve ever read!
