I’m just not vibing with this one 🤷🏻♀️ ok probably try to go back to it eventually because I don’t hate it, I just can’t make myself care about the accidental pregnancy of it all, even though I knew to expect it going in 🤷🏻♀️

Yall know I love a queer YA mystery and this was no exception! It had me laughing from the first page but also had so much emotion and talked about really important issues! I think the mystery unfurled really well and it was actually one that kept me guessing all the way up until the reveal! I loved the friendships and how much of a family the lgbt club was! I did think it was weird that after they were found at the crime scene looking guilty, they were just able to go home without even a call to their parents at the very least? Idk that just seemed odd lol

This was definitely my favorite book of the series so far! I’ve been eagerly awaiting finally getting to Lawson’s book and I really loved Nico too! I loved their dynamic and how they are very different but they complemented each other very well! This probably would’ve been a 4.5 star rating but I felt like the ending was a little rushed and I was disappointed that we didn’t get a scene of Nico joining a family barbecue (especially since Lawson talked about how much he wanted to bring him to them). But overall, this was really great and I’m so excited to get to Carter’s book soon!

This was devastating 😭 I honestly didn’t think I could hate Snow more than I already did but he sure did prove me wrong. Poor Haymitch 💔

I honestly don’t know why it took me so long to finally pick this one up 😅 I knew going in that I would love it and I did lol I’ve never not loved any of the Emily Henry books I’ve picked up. I loved both January and Gus so much! I loved that while this was a romcom, more than their romance was highlighted. The friendships, the writing, the family dynamics, and the personal growth were all just as important as the romance and I think that’s what truly makes a great book, imo! Emily Henry just knows how to write characters that feel real and I love getting to know them ♥️ also Gus is now a very close 2nd (Charlie is still my fave 🥰) for my favorite EmHen book boyfriends!

This was so sweet 🥺 Every time I read a queer MG book, my heart is filled with happiness that books like this exist for kids these days! Jude was such a beautiful soul that loves so deeply and I loved seeing them speak up for themselves and start a club to help connect queer kids in their town. Just truly a wonderful book that will stick with me 🥰

This book has an amazing concept and I actually think it was executed really well, especially in the second half! My main issue is that I was honestly so bored for at least 50% of it and that just made me lose a lot of my interest in it 🤷🏻♀️ I do think the last like 20% was really great but it just took too long for me to enjoy it the way I wanted! Overall though, it’s still one I would recommend!

I really enjoyed this one!! I love a good slasher novel and the fact that it was a queer slasher made it even better! I loved the discussions around gender and sexuality and i especially loved how supportive CJ’s mom was of them! I think the pacing was great and I would love to see this as like a Netflix movie or something because I think it would really come alive on screen! It was a little anticlimactic for me because I guessed the killer pretty much from the moment they were introduced and it just seemed really obvious to me so I would’ve loved some other kind of twist but overall, this was a really great book!

I’m always a little nervous going back to books I loved as a teenager because I never know how they’ll hold up but I think this one really holds up to how much I loved it the first time! The Truth About Forever is one of my favorite Sarah Dessen books and I’m so glad I’m doing this reread of her catalog and finding that I love certain ones as much as I used to! 🥰

I’ve been meaning to read this one since I finished Clueless Puckboy and just kept forgetting about it 🙈 ended up finding it again because I was looking for firefighters to go with my 9-1-1 obsession right now lol and I’m glad I finally read it!! This was way heavier than I expected but I honestly think that made the story better! I really loved both Sanden & Remy and seeing them get the help they needed and actually trying to be healthier mentally was really beautiful!
