This book was beautiful!! It’s a love story in so many ways; romantic, friendship, the love of family, self love, and so much more. The book starts with Avery getting interrupted from jumping in the river and ending her life with the news that an asteroid is headed to earth and there’s only 9 days left to live. The rest of the story is about not only trying to survive but being with the people she loves and also learning to accept herself and want to live. So much of this story is about allowing yourself to be known by people and coming to the realization that just because you don’t have a reason to be sad, doesn’t mean that you aren’t sad. It’s learning to accept that part of yourself and wanting to stay alive anyway. It’s learning that you don’t have to do things for a purpose, you can just do things because they make you happy and you can create beautiful things just for yourself. It’s realizing that it’s okay to stay just because you’re curious about what’s next and you don’t need to always be working to improve or be better, you’re allowed to just be! I’m normally not a fan

This was not good…? Like I’m not even sure what to say because I really just felt like it was kind of pointless and anticlimactic. The secrets weren’t as serious as they were made out to be and bringing the parents storyline into it was weird. Idk this is one that I feel like I just wasted my time on 🤷🏻‍♀️

This was so sweet 🥺 this felt like a queer little mermaid retelling in a twisted way in Prince Eric’s perspective and if he also had magic! For a book that wasn’t super long, a lot of stuff happened but everything still felt really well developed and I just really enjoyed it! I would love for more stories to be set in this world, even if it was stories of side characters or just in the same kingdom! Definitely recommend! 🥰

What can I even say? This book was incredible!! Like 10/10, no notes! With this book, it felt like Emily was able to tear open my chest and wrap every single word around my heart. I truly don’t know the last time I cried so hard while reading. Like full on sobs, multiple times throughout this story! It was devastating and heart wrenching and ripped my heart into a million pieces before slowing piecing them back together.

I had a full on existential crisis while reading. I saw so much of myself in Wyn and his inferiority complex. I’ve spent so much of my life watching people I love find their purpose and having such big ambitions and I’ve always felt like I’m just trying to make it through each day without letting people see that I had no idea what I’m doing or what I want. It’s easy to be self deprecating for humor than to be honest. Wyn spent so much of his life thinking he had to prove to everyone that he could be something when really all he wanted was to be happy and with the people he loved.

And Harriet spent her entire life trying to make up for what she believed her parents gave up for her and her sister. She always had to be the person that was okay and didn’t need anyone and always knew what she was doing with her life. And when she achieved those goals, then everything would be okay and it would’ve all been worth it. But in reality, her acting like she didn’t need anyone pushed the people she loved away. Every time Harriet mentioned the bargains she would make with the universe, I felt that so deep into my soul! Things like “if I do this, everyone will be happy” or “if I don’t ask for this, then everything will work out.” I’ve spent my whole like making deals with the universe in exchange for impossible things and it’s exhausting and debilitating.

And this little found family that the 6 of them have is so beautiful and brought me so much joy! The way that even through they were all struggling in different ways but when it all comes down to it, they’re always there for each other and they know each other even better than they realize! This book was just truly everything and I’ll be thinking about it for a really really long time!!

I honestly don’t know how to feel about this one…. On one hand, it kept me invested from start to finish but on the other, I really have no idea what was going on so I’m just confused lol 🤷🏻‍♀️

This book was wild!!! Simultaneously, nothing like I expected and exactly what I was expecting! There were so many times throughout the book where I was just like begging Crystal to make better decisions but at the same time, I have no idea how I would react in her situation so I can’t really judge 😂 I guessed who was behind everything early on but I still think it was a great reveal! The only thing I didn’t love was the last chapter, it felt kind of rushed even though the real mystery had been pretty much solved. But other than that, I think this was an intense and well thought out YA mystery!

Y’all this book is so freaking cute omg!! Like I legitimately giggled out loud multiple times throughout it! GIGGLED 🤭 It’s honestly insane that this story all takes place in 24 hours with how much character development both Rowen & Neil had and how much we really got to know them within this time span! They had  incredible chemistry, from their rivalry banter to their deep confessions to falling completely in love 🥰 The concept of them teaming up to win this game and getting to see them solve all the clues and have so much unexpected fun while doing it was just such a joy to read! I also really loved getting to see Rowen learn to trust her parents and best friends to love her for who she is and what she loves and wants to do with her life! I also related so much to Rowen’s grief when it comes to change and having to accept that there’s no going back and having to appreciate the things you experienced after the fact instead of during the moment. Lastly, I loved how sex positive this book was and how unashamed Rowen was about it! Very very much recommend this one!!

I love Aleks & Gabe so much 🥺 this one is probably my favorite of the puckboys series so far! Aleks & Gabe had so much chemistry from the very first time they met (zing) and it was so easy to fall in love with them while they were falling in love with each other! I loved getting to see how each of them were with each others friends and how easily they fit into each others lives even though they’re so different. Just really enjoyed this one and can’t wait for Ayri’s book! 🥰

I’m a sucker for any retellings or twists on The Little Mermaid so I’ve been so excited to read this one and it did not disappoint! I loved getting to see the story through Eric’s perspective for a change and the twists on the story made it even more intriguing because I didn’t know exactly how everything was going to play out! I just love Ariel & Eric so much so I hope i get to read more and more books with twists on them falling in love 🥰
