I loved this so much!! Yall already know how much I love fake dating books so this shouldn’t be a surprised but it was so great!! It also had rivals to lovers, misunderstandings, chaotic family drama, and the most swoon worthy moments 🥰  I loved that it was set in a summer-y place during the Christmas season! I didn’t expect that but it was a really fun surprise. I also loved the relationship between Devin & his siblings, it was definitely complicated at times but they really love each other so much! 🥺 The character development was also fantastic on so many levels! Just really really loved this one and highly recommend! 🥰

This was so fun!! An ace heist story is truly the most amazing idea and I don’t know why it took me so long to finally pick it up but it was great! I do think the heist of it all could have been more exciting but I really loved the characters and the idea of this group finding each other because of their ace identities! I would definitely recommend this one! ☺️

This one is honestly a confusing one that I’m gonna have to really sit with but I think 3.5 stars feels right? On one hand, the twists and turns kept me at the edge of my seat the whole story and I liked the main characters a lot! But the ultimate reveal and the final twist were just kind of disappointing and left me feeling unsatisfied with it ultimately. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I think I’ve just really loved every other book by Karen and think she’s great at her reveals so this one was just disappointing but it wasn’t bad!

Alright so this one is probably my least favorite of the series so far but this series is so good that that’s not really a bad thing! I think maybe there was just a lot going on but I did love the labyrinth aspect and getting more Tyson & Nico in this one!! And now that Percy is 15, I can’t wait to see how everything ramps up even more in book 5!

I truly don’t know what it is about the Hawthornes and Avery but I just love them so much and could read a million stories about them 😅 I was actually pretty nervous about this book (that’s why I’ve been putting it off 🙈) but it was just as good as the original trilogy! These books always make me feel so dumb because I would never be able to figure out these games and riddles and challenges that they’re presented but it is so fun getting to go along the journey with them and see how they work everything out in their heads! I cannot wait for The Grandest Game and I need whatever the book after that is going to be, to be about Xander!!

I did listen to the audio of this one and I wish there would’ve been 2 different narrators so it would’ve been easier to keep track of when it was Jameson’s pov vs Greyson’s pov but that’s okay!

This book really made me stop and think about my privilege how much I don’t have to think about daily being a white woman. Being in Texas, I see a lot about immigration and I’ve always thought it was so unfair that immigrants and people of different ethnicities and religions have to deal with so much discrimination on a daily basis but really diving into that experience from Zara’s perspective made me see it even more and it broke my heart and made me so angry. It’s not fair that she had to wake up every day with the weight of so much on her shoulders and constantly had to be on guard because of so many cruel people. I obviously don’t have the words to really express how important this book is but I think it’s such an eye opening and important read for every single person. Very very highly recommend!!

Overall, I really enjoyed this! It’s very messy in the most real and honest way! It very much read like a memoir which I thought was interesting but I actually really liked. I’m very much not a literary fiction girlie so I sometimes struggle with the ones I decide to pick up but I’m really glad I gave this one a try! It was very interesting to be inside the protagonist’s head and really understanding her reconciliation between craving love and craving family but having self destructive tendencies that repeatedly blow up both and also going on her journey of discovering all of this about herself. I do wish the story was told in a more linear way instead jumping around but overall, this is a really moving and powerful read!

I loved almost everything about this! There was 1 thing that bothered me and that was never addressed but it wasn’t something that ruined the whole story. Getting to see Wes slowly become a better person and accept the things about himself that he was hiding was beautiful in the most messy way. I loved getting to see his passion for photography and the people he loved and it was super easy to root for him! There’s a lot that I could say about this book but I don’t want to give any spoilers so I’ll just say that I definitely recommend it, if you like coming of age stories! ☺️ also the audiobook is narrated by Michael Crouch and I will always recommend anything and everything he narrates! Thanks to NetGalley and the RB Media for the arc!

I wanted and expected to enjoy this one way more than I did so it honestly just left me feeling disappointed. I didn’t fully start connecting with the story until the last few chapters. I don’t know if it was the way the story was written or what but I always just felt like I was outside of the book and could never fully immerse myself in it 🤷🏻‍♀️ I did really love Zach & Eugenio and I think that’s what made me stick with it because I just wanted them to be happy but it just really dragged and I’m glad I’m finally done with it 😅 I do think the Jewish rep and the hard of hearing rep was great and the last few chapters were worth sticking around!

A book about chess had no right to be this good 😂 I loved this so much!! Mallory & Nolan had chemistry that jumped off the page from their first chess match all the way to the epilogue! I personally know literally nothing about chess but that didn’t deter my enjoyment of this story at all. I loved getting to see Mallory work through her family issues and figure out how to let people in even though she was terrified of being vulnerable. Mallory & Nolan were also very invisible string by Taylor Swift coded which I adored!!! I didn’t expect the queer rep but it was such a nice surprise, it makes me happy reading more and more books where it’s just a part of who a character is and it’s not an issue in the story! Anyway, this book was so cute and I definitely recommend!! 🥰
